Process

My designs are reflections of my current environment, or appreciations of where I wish to go. I like to focus on things that can sometimes be overlooked, taken for granted, covered or removed from the narrative. In these things, I find so much beauty and inspiration. Like the way the light shines through a stained glass window, the pop in the twists and coils of my new hairstyle, the way the trees seem to put on an exhibition of their own, and the steady endurance of the leaves of a plant that is out of its element. While my passion is the exploration and appreciation of other cultures, people, places, and languages, these are the small moments, which form the shapes, colors and patterns in my head.
